The first flagship super-5-star project of Galaxy Entertainment Group Limited (“Galaxy”) (stock code: 27)  – StarWorld Hotel & Casino – (“StarWorld”) opened its VIP Clubs for business on Sunday 26th November.

StarWorld Casino’s VIP Clubs are located on the 11/F and 12/F, offering a total of 36 gaming tables.  Equipped with resting area, dining area and individual room under either Art Deco style on 11/F and classical European style on 12/F, the VIP Clubs give comfort and privacy to guests.

Since StarWorld’s opening, it has recorded tremendous result and the average visitor per day was over 20,000. With approximately 50,000 arrivals per day, near half of the Macau tourists choose visiting StarWorld, demonstrating it has already become a new landmark in Macau.  Hotel guest rooms are well received and the average occupancy rate exceeded 80%.

StarWorld has launched a host of marketing initiatives to promote to tourists worldwide. The offer of StarWorld Privilege Membership has drawn huge response with over 50,000 applications processed so far. More than 95% of the visitors to StarWorld come from Asia. That speaks volume about the success of Galaxy’s business strategy of providing one-stop gaming, entertainment and leisure services with distinct Asian characteristics. The innovative services offered by StarWorld are what made it a “must visit” destination in Macau.
