The Government has suspended the authorisation for Cotai Waterjets to operate ferry services between Taipa and Hong Kong, after its reasoning was rejected by the Court. The Court of Second Instance did not agree with the reasoning by the Government, which claimed that suspending the validity of authorisation ‘will severely hamper public interests’. The reasoning came after North West Express, another ferry operator, applied for an order to suspend ferry operations by Cotai Waterjets. The Government has notified the Court’s decision to maintain the ban to Cotai Waterjets, while waiting for the final verdict. Source: BlogMacau.info
