STATEMENT OF CLARIFICATION:
MGM GRAND Macau - Defraud Attempts by Fake Website under MGM GRAND Macau Found
[2nd, June, 2008 -Macau, Hong Kong] MGM GRAND Macau alerts the public of a suspected fraudulent website named “EA MGM GRAND Macau” (http://www.eamgm.com/) that requests for personal information and payment unlawfully using MGM GRAND Macau’s references; and announces the following：
1. The official and only website address of MGM GRAND Macau is www.mgmgrandmacau.com.
2. MGM GRAND Macau alerts the public to the fact that the Hotel and its official website are not related in any way, directly or indirectly, to the suspected fraudulent website "http://www.eamgm.com/", with a browser title bar named "EAMGM GRAND Macau".
3. The images and graphic designs of by MGM GRAND Macau have been illegally duplicated in the suspected fraudulent website http://www.eamgm.com/. MGM GRAND Macau reserves the right to take further legal actions.
4. MGM GRAND Macau will not be liable to any means of compensation and legal liabilities to anyone who provided personal information, and/or participated in any activities at http://www.eamgm.com/.
5. MGM GRAND Macau has notified law enforcement authorities about these activities.
If anyone is concerned that they may have revealed their security details to fraudsters, they are advised to contact police authorities.
